We are a friendly, forward thinking club looking for an experienced coach for our dedicated and hard working men’s 1stXV team who play in the BT Caledonia 2 North Division. The club has vigour and enthusiasm on which we looking forward to further develop the club.

Shetland itself is a prospering island with many employment opportunities in the oil and gas, construction and fishery sectors. Shetland has excellent all year round training facilities including a floodlit pitch, gymnasium and indoor 3g rugby ready pitch.

Preferred coaching qualities:

• Previous coaching experience with coaching qualifications
• Seek to grow the game of rugby within the community
• Ability to work with players of all ages
• Willing to travel with the squad for away games
• Strength and conditioning awareness
• Organisational and planning skills

Training days are Tuesday and Thursdays, playing weekend matches in Shetland / Scottish mainland.
